Social Security totals 280,403 members in the first half of July and exceeds 22.5 million in the daily series

The dynamism in the pace of job creation is seen one more month with a total of employed people in the middle of the month that is above 22.5 million. In particular, there are 22,539,603 members on July 15; after adding 280,403 workers since June 30.
On July 14, the highest figure of this first fortnight with 22,541,990 employees is recorded and remains above the 22.4 million every day of this month.
The Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, Elma Saiz, explains that “the reality of our labor market has changed in recent years thanks to labor reform; there are more jobs and they are of higher quality. A reflection of this is the creation of almost 2.5 million jobs since it came into force. An increase that raises registrations to 22.5 million members in the first half of July.”
If the seasonality and the calendar effect are discounted, the 22,255,325 affiliates have been reached in the middle of July, thanks to the increase of 92,990 affiliates in the last two fortincen5 people. This implies that the total number of employed has increased by 1,414,921 in the adjusted series since December 2023 and by 2,497,083 since December 2021, before the entry into force of the labor reform.
