The Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration is committed to making its websites accessible in accordance with Royal Decree 1112/2018, of 7 September , on the accessibility of websites and applications for mobile devices in the public sector (hereinafter, Royal Decree 1112/2018, of 7 September).

The European directive is based on the standard EN 301 549 “Accessibility requirements of ICT products and services” and this, in turn, is an adaptation of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) of the W3C.

1. Failure to comply with RD 1112/2018 of 7 September

   In some of the pages there could be the following unfulfilled criteria related to the standard EN 301 549 “Accessibility requirements of ICT products and services” and this, in turn, is an adaptation of the Accessibility Guidelines for Web Content (WCAG 2.1) (criteria specified in parentheses)

   • Online mapping and mapping services, provided that essential information is provided in a digitally accessible manner in the case of maps intended for navigation purposes.

   • Contents of third parties that are not under the control of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration.

It is established as objective to achieve compliance with all the requirements of level A and AA of the WCAG 2.1 together with certain requirements of level AAA considered relevant to the improvement of the experience of use of the portal by the citizen.
